The Village has been notified by Nassau County that the process of resurfacing and repaving Middle Neck Road will start on Monday March 7th. Please expect sporadic closings and delays and plan accordingly.
Please note that Middle Neck Road is owned and maintained by Nassau County. Please see note from Nassau County:
“Nassau County will be resuming the Pavement Rehabilitation Project on Middle Neck Road, beginning Monday March 7th 2022. Work will be performed on a daily basis, Monday thru Friday from 8AM-4:30PM. All religious holidays will be taken into account and accommodations will be made for working locations during those times. There will intermit lane closures as the project progresses, but no full detours at this time. The target to repave the North Section of the project, beginning at Redbrook Road and heading South, will be early April. We intend to repave the travel lanes in three to four segments as we progress South, as to not disrupt the entire length of Middle Neck Road at one time. All work is weather permitting, but we look forward to progressing safely and quickly towards the completion of rehabilitating Middle Neck Road early this year”.
