In observance of the upcoming holidays, the Mayor and Board of Trustees have suspended overnight and timed parking restrictions (15 minutes, 30 minutes, hourly, etc.) on all Village streets and parking lots as follows:
In observance of Rosh Hashanah:
From 5:00 pm Wednesday – October 2, 2024 through 10:00 pm Saturday – October 5, 2024.
In observance of Yom Kippur:
From 5:00 pm Friday, October 11, 2024 through 10:00 pm Saturday – October 12, 2024.
In observance of Sukkot:
From 5:00 pm Wednesday – October 16, 2024 through 10:00 pm Saturday – October 19, 2024.
From 10:00 pm Wednesday – October 23, 2024 through 10:00 pm Saturday, October 26, 2024.
Please note, restrictions on Middle Neck Road & East Shore Road, as well as all other parking restrictions, will remain in effect.
Additionally, the following restrictions will continue to be strictly enforced, and violations will be issued:
- Parking where a sign states “No Parking”
- Parking where a sign states “No Standing”
- Parking where the sign states “No Stopping”
- Parking where a sign states or indicates “No Parking Here To Corner”
- Parking where a sign states “No Parking September To June”; applicable only when school is in session
- Parking in a school zone September - June; applicable only when school is in session
- Parking in a location where a permit is required
- Parking in a school a zone
- Parking in fire lanes or in front of hydrants
- Parking that blocks a driveway
- Parking on or within 20 feet of a crosswalk; unless otherwise indicated
- Parking within 30 feet of a stop sign
